北极光闪耀Google地图

大自然之中最壮丽的光首次降临Google地图。从今天开始，希望足不出户探索北极的人们、科学爱好者、以及对大自然充满好奇心的观察者都将可以通过Google地图领略芬兰北极光的神奇景象。
北极光，芬兰
北极光又被称为Aurora Borealis（其中Aurora是罗马神话中的黎明女神，Boreas则是希腊神话中的北风之神），其之所以能在夜空中如此闪烁是带电粒子在地球大气层中互相作用产生的效果。一直以来，无数诗人和游客都被北极光的神奇所吸引，来到此地，目不转睛地盯着天空中仿佛不属于这个世界的美丽光芒，与朴素的北极大地形成鲜明的对比。不过，由于北极光只有在一年中的特定时间，并且在特定的纬度才能看到，大多数人往往无缘这一神奇景象。
