致<星球大战>新老粉丝

在最初记忆里，我第一次的观影体验是和老爸一起分享的，那时的我大概只有四岁。还记得那天下午，爸爸打开了我家那台硕大、带有典型上世纪80年代风格的前投电视和盒式录像机，《星球大战》的画面就这样跳入了我的视线。毫无疑问，这片子真是棒极了。从那时起，这部原版三部曲被我看了不下十次。
这个故事的魅力如此之大，所以在Google里出现有数不清的像我一样的《星球大战》粉丝根本不足为怪。你可以经常碰到
达斯·维达（Darth Vaders）
，打扮地像
尤达（Yoda）
一样的小狗，甚至偶尔有
突击兵（stormtrooper）
出现在我们的数据中心里（大概还在寻找那些机器人吧）。因此，当刚听说第七季的消息时，我们就开始想象Google能为这史诗般的故事做做些什么呢？如果在搜索中加入《星球大战》相关类别，那岂不很酷？Cardboard里要是能加入“千年鹰号”是不是会非常炫酷了！如果Google Translate能破译银河系语言，那又会给大家带来怎样的体验？……随着奇思妙想不断涌现，更多的富有激情且想将这些梦想变为现实的工程师和产品开发人员加入了进来。
于是，我们联系了卢卡斯电影公司和迪斯尼公司的朋友，并从那时开始，一起创建了google.com/starwars。这是属于星迷们的天地，是他们自由做主的地方。从今天开始，你可以选
择光明或黑暗，然后查看如Gmail、Google Maps、Youtube、Chrome这些你最喜欢的Google应用软件，或者选择其他更多的方式来改变前进道路。这仅仅是个开端。从现在开始到首发之日，还有更多惊喜来袭，比如虚拟现实版的千年鹰号, 所以请一定要保持关注。我们还在里面隐藏了多个彩蛋。因此，唤醒你内心的力量，集中精力，等待很久很久之前来自遥远银河的客人吧……
十二月，咱们剧场见！我会和我老爸一起去的。
